Curating a Mental Health Event

Calling all youth-serving organizations and program directors!
This 90 minute class empowers you to turn events into ones that further support the mental and emotional wellbeing of the youth in your care.
We’ll dive into how to support someone who’s seeking help around mental health. Topics include cultivating hope, holding space for someone who’s hurting and specific steps to take in order to help someone. Enjoy the benefits of real-time roleplaying on various scenarios. We’ll also discuss how to maintain energetic boundaries for people in a helper role.

Nicole Maynard: A Colorado Native, Nicole Maynard was raised on the front range before making a home in Summit County. Nicole found Building Hope as a resource to support her own mental health as well as a way to connect with community members. Nicole’s passion is spreading the word about Building Hope and helping others support Building Hope in meaningful ways.
Nicole is a graduate of Colorado University of Colorado Springs with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. Nicole also holds an MBA. Her professional work has centered around complex program and project management in the commercial and defense industries.
