Dark Sky Walk
April 19 @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
$10 – $20
To celebrate International Dark Sky Week, come along with one of Swaner’s naturalists to learn about dark skies and light pollution! We will begin with a short presentation and discussion inside the EcoCenter, then make our way onto the preserve for a walk under the stars.
This walk will take place in-person on the Swaner Preserve. With changing winter/spring conditions, this tour could take place on snowshoes if there is still snow. You will receive more information about Preserve conditions a few days in advance of this tour via email after you have registered for the event.
Terrain is variable: Please come prepared with waterproof hiking shoes or boots and dress for the weather. Long pants are recommended.
Space is limited, please reserve your spot early.
