Yoga in City Park and BBQ
We’ll be using yoga to connect our movements with meditations. We’ll work up an appetite and finish some yummy BBQ.

THEME: Moving meditation and observation our natural world
Come dressed in stretchy yoga or gym clothes. Don’t worry if you have never tried yoga, we all start from where we are. We will stretch our bodies, while breathing as we move. Snack and water provided. Bring a yoga mat if you have one, otherwise we will have extra.
LOCAL HERO: Melissa Knighton, Anusara yoga instructor, educator and athlete.
MENTOR: Betsy Bothe, Outdoor Guide of White Pine Touring, TBD
Vibe Outside fosters connection and belonging by exposing kids to the awe of nature, meaningful outdoor activity and thoughtful discussions.
Local expert, Betsy Bothe and guest mentors facilitate healthy and inspirational outdoor experiences, focusing on mental wellness by engaging them in life-affirming activities.
About Betsy Bothe:
Betsy has a Master Degree in Art from Utah State University. She worked in Art Education and school programming for 13 years at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art, the Utah Arts Council and Kimball Art Center. For the last 15 years she has worked in the travel industry as an avid outdoor guide for White Pine Touring. She has also worked in the travel industry planning tours and guiding tourists on cultural tours in America, Europe and Asia.
“As an outdoor guide, I hope to share my enthusiasm for sports, nature, travel and cultures with others. I have been teaching and guiding people for over 30 years; downhill skiing, nordic skiing, ski touring, running, hiking, mountain biking, yoga and leading cultural tours throughout the world.”
